Here we value originality, sincerity and glitter...
Gifted is the labor of love from the hearts and crafty hands of mother-daughter team, Terry Scott and Jeannette McDonald. With a firm belief that tomorrow's heirlooms are being made in our own backyards, studios and garages, they decided to create a gift shop that would feature only locally made and American manufactured gifts and goods. After overhauling a quaint space located on the ground floor of the towering 3-story Odd Fellows building in Jackson, Terry and Jeannette opened Gifted's doors on July 1st, 2011. Nearly seven years later the ladies continue to be humbled and overwhelmed by the positive response to their little shop that could. They are constantly striving to improve and love to seek out new artisans and American Made product to feature at the shop.
If you are interested in selling your quality handmade items in our store please send photos or links to any online galleries along with line sheet to email@example.com. You may also call, email or drop in to request an appointment to show us samples of your work in person. We prefer to buy wholesale from makers. Occasionally we will carry items on commission (60/40 maker/Gifted). In the interest of providing excellent customer service, walk-ins to show product without an appointment are discouraged.
We believe community makes us all stronger!
That is why we enjoy collaborating on projects like our 2015 artist-in-residence fundraiser "Painting the Piano" which benefited the Amador County Arts Association. A customer favorite, Gifted's canvas fundraiser totes (pictured here) have helped to raise over $1,500 for the Interfaith Food Bank.
We are also happy to support the following...
